General Open Source Software[edit]

  • The Comprehensive R Archive Network - R is ‘GNU S’, a freely available language and environment for statistical computing and graphics which provides a wide variety of statistical and graphical techniques: linear and nonlinear modelling, statistical tests, time series analysis, classification, clustering, etc. Hosted by the Froese Lab in Forest Resources and Environmental Science.
  • TFM (Traction Force Microscopy) - Open-source software for mechanobiology community from the Han Lab
  • Astrophysics Source Code Library (ASCL) open repository. Housed at MTU and located online at https://ascl.net/, the ASCL now lists over 2000 codes and promotes greater research transparency. ASCL is indexed by ADS, making participating astrophysics codes easier to locate and cite.
